Mr. Stenard is President of Sten-Tek Corporation. He has extensive experience in shock mitigation, mechanical engineering, naval construction, and testing, including developing leading-edge shock, vibration, and acoustic isolation consulting and technology solutions, and solving complex mechanical and marine engineering problems. A proven performer in delivering advanced mechanical engineering solutions, he brings over 45 years of experience in the conceptualization, design, fabrication, and testing of mechanical and marine systems.  

Mr. Stenard earned an S.B. in Mechanical Engineering and an S.M. in Naval Construction & Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) in Cambridge, MA.  A qualified Engineering Duty Officer (EDO), Surface Warfare Officer (SWO), Docking Officer, Engineering Officer of the Watch, and Chief Engineer of Mine Countermeasure Ships, Mr. Stenard retired with the rank of Commander from the U.S. Navy.  He is a member of the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), and has presented at various industry events, including at the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) Combat Systems Symposium (CSS) and Technology Systems and Ships Symposium (TSS), and at the International Shock and Vibration Exchange (SAVE) Symposium.

Mr. Stenard has been granted five (5) U.S. Patents for his work in shock mitigation.
